This is a very nice WWII Era small bowie knife, made by Kinfolks. This is typical of the type of private purchase knife many soldiers would take into the field for defense and utility. This example measures 9" overall and has a Clip point "Bowie" blade that is now 5" long. Looking at the amount of sharpening that the knife edge has had, it may have at one point been closer to 5 1 2" inches long. The knife is equipped
